The Melbourne Recital Center and adjacent Melbourne Theater Company have recently won four of the highest honors at this year’s Victorian Architecture Awards.
Designed by Ashton Raggatt McDougal, these sexy theaters have very stylish exteriors with bright neon-styled beams that wrap around the buildings. It only gets better inside. One theater continues the black and electric pink theme, while the other theater features a breathtaking, natural texture of driftwood that encases the walls in a symmetrical but organic design.
